Balance & Inspiration
We all have times when we must dig deep to get through the day, carry on, and carry forward, or even get out of bed. When you are going through change, sometimes it is difficult to find the balance you need to push the reset button and see the glass half-full rather than half empty. This segment of My Super Awesome Life is dedicated to inspiring;
-
Clarity of thought so you can find answers when you need them
-
Strength to handle things when they are upside down, not right side up
-
Courage to advocate for yourself and others in difficult situations
-
Strength to help you let go when all you want to do is hold on, and help you hold on when all you want to do is let go
-
Stories and ideas to help you find balance and fun in your life
-
Encouragement to believe in yourself and keep moving forward, so you can make your ideas happen and come out a winner in the game of life

A fantastic tour with guide Steve through the lakes and rivers of Wahoura and mystical Glow Worm crevices. This was a highlight of our entire trip to New Zealand and is a must see must do. If want to see Glow Worms, do it with Steve and Lake District Adventures because you will get an exceptional experience with personal attention and a super- natural light show beyond belief!

This extremely popular attraction is well organized and well worth it. I have never seen a Lord of The Rings Film myself but even I was impressed. The stunning scenery and creative landscape and backstory are very interesting and will be a hit with all ages. Reservations are a must and advance tickets are highly recommended.

Orakei Korako boasts the most active geysers (23) of any Geothermal park in NZ, and when I say active, I mean active with a capital A. Orakei is a wonder and a wonderful place to visit- things are just bubbling up all over. A great place for all ages and quite a conversation piece for you to talk about when you return home from your super awesome trip.

Multiple guided sea tour kayaking options where you can explore the coast and see Dolphins, whales, seals and Albatross. Great knowledgeable guides and very reasonably priced.
Milford Sound
Milford Sound is in the heart of Fiordland National Park. It is a breathtaking destination with tons of hiking trails, boat tours, camping, helicopter tours, kayaking and diving. There is something for everyone, but you MUST plan your journey carefully. Milford Sound is very remote and there is only one road in and one road out. There are no groceries stores or gas stations in Milford so if you go, you need to stock up on supplies and gas up before you leave. We did a boat cruise and saw dolphins and lots of incredible scenery. I would highly recommend making a reservation for the cruise and bus tours. There is also an underwater marine life centre you can stop at. The website I have provided is a great starting point for you to plan your journey.

4 Brecon St. Queenstown NZ
The boys and I rented bikes and cycled around the park and lake in Queenstown. There are heaps of waterside and mountain trails around the area so you should put a bike tour on your list. You can do more challenging mountain bike trails or cycle through a winey with lunch. If you’re worried you can’t keep up don’t be afraid to get one of those e-bikes; I did, and it was awesome! I still felt as though I got a workout but had that extra oomph! when I needed it. The staff at Vertigo bikes are super friendly and knowledgeable so go see them.

Quake City

Quake City is an astounding museum. Through personal stories and hands on exhibits it chronicles the aftermaths of the 2010/2011 earthquakes in Christchurch and the hope and promise of this city, plus, you learn a lot about earthquakes you would not know otherwise.
